Bank Stabilization

Bank stabilization is necessary around the lake when the water washes against the bank and causes erosion.  When this happens, our lake committee brings in truck loads of rock that is unloaded and placed along the needed area.  A bobcat loader puts the rock in place, then topsoil is spread to keep the rocks in place, and grass is planted to bring the original look back.  In April, 330 feet on the east side of the lake got a much needed face lift that looks so much better.
